Merge, Split and Organize PDFs — Without Uploading Them Anywhere

Updated July 20, 2026

Contracts, invoices, scans, application documents — sooner or later everything ends up as a PDF that needs combining, trimming or signing. Most online PDF sites upload your documents to their servers to do this. Here is how to handle the same everyday jobs entirely on your own device.

1. Combine documents into one PDF

Job applications, tax submissions and official paperwork usually want one single PDF. Open PDF Merge, drop in your files in any order, drag them into the right sequence and download the combined document. Since nothing is uploaded, even contracts and payslips are safe to process.

2. Extract or remove pages

Need only pages 3–5 of a 40-page report? PDF Split extracts page ranges into separate files. To drop a single page — a blank scan page, an outdated attachment — the page reorder tool also lets you delete pages while you rearrange them with live thumbnails.

3. Shrink the file for email

Scanned PDFs are often 10–50 MB because every page is a full-resolution photo. PDF Compress re-encodes those page images at a sensible quality, typically cutting scans down to a fraction of their size — small enough for email attachments and upload limits.

4. Fill and sign without printing

If the PDF has interactive form fields, the PDF Form Filler lets you type into them directly and download the filled copy. For a signature, draw it once in the PDF eSign tool, place it on the page, and export — no print-sign-scan cycle needed.

A note on privacy

All of these tools run 100% locally in your browser: your PDF is opened and edited on your device, and the result is saved straight back to your disk. There is no upload, no processing queue and no copy of your document on anyone's server — which matters precisely for the documents PDFs usually contain.
