What is this tool?
Video Trimmer cuts a section out of a video file directly in your browser using a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg, the same engine professional video software relies on. The trim copies the video stream without re-encoding, so it finishes in seconds, keeps the original quality, and works on files of any resolution. Cut points align to the nearest keyframe, which can shift them by a second or two.

FAQ
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. The video is processed entirely in your browser. Only the FFmpeg engine itself (~31 MB) is downloaded from a CDN on first use and then cached — your video never leaves your device.
Why is the cut not exactly at my chosen time?
To stay fast and lossless, the trimmer copies the video without re-encoding. Cuts can only happen at keyframes, so the actual cut point may be up to a couple of seconds before your chosen start time.
Which formats are supported?
MP4, WebM, MOV and most other common containers work. The output keeps the same format and quality as the input.
