What is this tool?
This online metronome generates a steady, sample-accurate click using your browser's audio engine. The tempo range covers 30 to 240 BPM, the first beat of each bar is accented at a higher pitch, and a visual beat indicator helps in loud environments. No installation, no ads between you and your practice.

FAQ
How accurate is the timing?
Clicks are scheduled ahead of time on the Web Audio clock, which is sample-accurate — far more precise than JavaScript timers alone.
Why don't I hear anything?
Check that your device isn't muted and that the tab is allowed to play sound. Browsers only allow audio after you interact with the page, so press the start button first.
Can I use it offline?
Once the page has loaded, the metronome itself runs entirely in your browser and needs no connection.
